Narr:- “Pundarikaksha pierced Shalya with the arrows of his sight and he also glanced back at Pundarikaksha in a similar way. Using the arrows of his sight, Vasudeva defeated Shalya. Kunti’s son,#Dhananjaya,_also_glanced at #Karna with his sight and #vanquished_him.
KMG Translation:— The lotus-eyed Keshava pierced Shalya with his keen glances. The latter also cast similar glances at the former. Vasudeva, however, vanquished Shalya with those glances of his, while Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti, vanquished Karna with his glances. Then the Suta's son, smilingly addressing Shalya, said, "If Partha by any means slays me in battle today, tell me truly, O friend, what thou wilt do after that." Shalya answered, saying, "If thou art slain, I myself will slay both Krishna and Dhananjaya." Once more the ruler of the Madras said, "If, O Karna, the white steeded Arjuna slays thee in battle today, I myself, on a single car, will slay both Madhava and Phalguna.'"

Arjun was not the greatest Archer of Mahabharat. He was helped by lord Shiva from day 1. He was helped by lord Hanuman and rest god's. He was nothing much if god's may have not protected him.
ReplyDeleteOther than the Gods, Everyone was just an insect infront of Arjuna in archery.
DeleteOnly in your dreams, Shiva accompanied Arjuna from the first day of Kuru war
Hanumana was never present on Arjuna's chariot
