FAIR DEATH OF KARNA BY ARJUNA

FAIR DEATH OF KARNA BY ARJUNA

It's a big misconception that Arjuna killed Karna by cheating and by using unfair means but according to BORI CE which is the most authentic version of Vyasa Mahabharata, Arjuna killed Karna in a fair fight. All the references provided here are from Bibek Debroy translation of BORI CE

Here's the description of Arjuna killing Karna from actual event of Karna Parva :-

KARNA PARVA Section-67

EXPLANATION :-

It's clearly written that after trying to lift the wheel of chariot he countered Agniastra using a Varunastra and then Arjuna killed him so he wasn't unarmed.

Excuse of Karna fans

Excuse no.1 )- Nowhere it's written that Karna stopped lifting the wheel of his chariot when he used Varunastra and nowhere it's written that Karna used bow and arrow to use Varunastra

Disrobing :-So according to our beloved nursery failed Karna fans their idol used Varunastra while lifting the wheel of his chariot using both of his hands

TWO MINUTES SILENCE FOR THE DEADLY THEORY

Now jokes apart and even if we consider that Karna shot Varunastra using his one hand only while using his another hand to lift the wheel of his chariot then how can someone say that he was unarmed as he had can use his weapons using his single hand only. The termed unarmed and weaponless are used for that person who don't have weapons and if that person don't have weapons then how can he use it, Karna used Varunastra after trying to lift the wheel of his chariot clearly means he was not unarmed

Excuse no.2 )- Sanjaya didn't mentioned the position of Karna when Arjuna cut the flag of his chariot and killed him

Disrobing :-Sanjaya also didn't mentioned that whether Karna was trying to extricate his chariot again after using Varunastra or not. Karna didn't had the counter of the arrows shot by Arjuna to cut his flag and to kill him that's why he was standing there helplessly so Sanjaya thought it's useless to mention that Karna is standing helplessly.

Excuse no.3 )- Duryodhana was right in saying that Karna was killed unarmed and unfairly

Disrobing :-

Here's the statement of Duryodhana :-

Shalya Parva Section- 60

According to the statement of Duryodhana :-

1). Lord Krishna was a crook warrior who unfairly killed many Kings.

2). It was Lord Krishna who killed Bhishma

3). It was Lord Krishna who killed Karna not Arjuna

4). Lord Krishna who defeated an army of demigods in Khandava forest was inferior to Duryodhana who was defeated by mere Gandharvas

Even according to the statement of Duryodhana Karna was not killed weaponless as Duryodhana was telling the summary not the whole description so he skipped Karna firing Varunastra and continuing the fight.

Excuse no.4 )- Gods started crying when they heard that Karna was killed unfairly from the mouth of Duryodhana

Disrobing :- Nowhere it's written that any god or demigod cried for Karna. It were the Pandavas who wept for Karna.

Here they is referred to Pandavas as Lord Krishna was at the forefront of Pandavas.Bibek Debroy himself cleared in his footnotes that they is referred to Pandavas here. So neither any god nor any demigod cried for Karna.

Excuse no.5 )- Lord Krishna confessed that Arjuna wasn't capable to kill Karna fairly

Disrobing :-

According to the statements of Lord Krishna(see the previous screenshot)

1). Lord Krishna himself was incapable of defeating Karna in fair battle as Lord Krishna used the word "we" not "you".

2). Pandavas were like gods who used the method to defeat Kauravas and Karna who were like Asuras/demons

3). Killing someone by cheating is a good route

Now by reading all the statement we can very well understand that this cannot be taken seriously as a powerful god like Lord Krishna don't have to use unfair methods to defeat mortals like Duryodhana,Karna,Bhishma,Drona and Bhurishrava specially if he has the help of a warrior like Arjuna who alone defeated these warriors.

Excuse no.6)- Statements of Duryodhana and Lord Krishna proofs that Karna was killed unfairly

Disrobing :-We already exposed those overglorified statements of Duryodhana and Lord Krishna in above points but still if someone thinks that those statements are true then why did Vyasa and Vaisampayana called Arjuna righteous and virtuous.

SAUPTIKA PARVA Section-15

HereVaisampayanasaid that Arjuna was pure person that's why he was capable to withdraw Bramhshirastra.

Here Vyasa said that Arjuna always followed the dharma of a Kshatriya and was a righteous man.

So both Vaisampayana and Vyasa debunked the statements of Duryodhana and Lord Krishna.

One more point should be noted here that every statement of Lord Krishna should not be taken seriously as the same Lord Krishna also said that Arjuna defeated Lord Shiva in a combat. Here's the proof :-

Sauptika Pava Section- 12

Here Lord Krishna clearly said that Arjuna defeated Lord Shiva himself but in reality it was Lord Shiva who had overpowered Arjuna. So the statement of Lord Krishna should not be taken seriously if it is not the part of actual fight sequences.

So the statements of Lord Krishna and Duryodhana don't prove that Karna was killed unfairly.

Conclusion :- Arjuna killed Karna in a fair fight not vice versa

Yes Arjuna had broken the supreme armour of Karna in the final battle. It should be noted that the armour of Karna which was broken by Arjuna was different from Surya's armour but it was a supreme armour which was made by many foremost of artists. Also this scene is the most iconic scene of Mahabharat, The entire world was watching this final battle and Arjuna disrobed Karna infront of everyone by using his arrows. It is the one of the best scenes of Mahabharat.

DEBROY TRANSLATION OF BORI CE

Arjuna drew his bow all the way back up to his ears and struck him with twelve sharp arrows. Those

iron arrows were like venomous serpents in their force. He drew his bow all the way back up to his

ears and shot them. They were released well. They shattered his supreme and colourful armour, as if

they were robbing him of his life. Having drunk Karna’s blood, they penetrated the ground, with the tufts smeared with blood. Vrisha became extremely angry at being struck by the arrows, like a giant serpent that has been beaten with a staff. He swiftly shot supreme arrows that were like giant serpents with excellent poison. He struck Janardana with twelve arrows and Arjuna with ninety-nine. Karna again pierced Pandava with terrible arrows and roared loudly. Pandava could not tolerate this joy. He was like Indra in his valour. He shot supreme arrows, like Indra energetically striking Bala. Arjuna shot ninety arrows at Karna and each of them was like Yama’s staff. Those arrows severely mangled his body, like a mountain shattered by thunder. The crown on his head was decorated with gems and diamonds and he wore excellent earrings. These were severed by Dhananjaya’s arrows and fell down.

His radiant and excellent armour was carefully crafted by the best of craftsmen over a long period of time. It was extremely expensive. In an instant, Pandava shattered this into many fragments with his arrows. Having deprived him of his armour with those excellent arrows, he then angrily struck him with four arrows.

SUTPUTRA KARNA:- WHO FAILED TO PIERCE THE BIRD IN THE GURUKUL OF DRONA.

Yes it is a bittter truth of Mahabharat that Karna failed to pierce the bird at Drona's gurukul.

Karna was a student of Drona, he was envious of child Arjuna in gurukul as the latter was superior to him in archery.

BORI CE, ADI PARVA-122

The one day, Drona organised a test. The test was to pierce the bird's head but all of them failed in task except Arjuna.

NOTICE THE LAST LINE IN THE SCREENSHOT:-

It says all of them, which meant Karna too.

BORI CE, ADI PARVA-123

Then the immensely illustrious one placed Duryodhana in the same position and Dhritarashtra’s other sons, one after another, so as to test them. Bhima and the other students and the kings who had come from other countries were also asked. All of them said that they could see everything and were scolded.

Note:- Some people will say that Karna had left Drona's Gurukul before this test but it is totally a false claim because we can see that their training were not completed fully, Arjuna learnt Brahmshira after this test ……neither it is written anywhere in the entire chapter that Karna had left the gurukul before this test.

MISCONCEPTION:- THE BIRD TEST WAS FOR KURU PRINCES ONLY

EXPOSING:- First of all nowhere written in the entire chapter that this test was for princes only. 2nd thing that if Drona had organised this test only for kuru Princes then how did the kings participate in the test. It means the test was for all. see the below narrative.

BORI CE, ADI PARVA, SECTION-123

Narr:- Bhima and the other students and the KINGS who had come from other countries were also asked. All of them said that they could see everything and were scolded.
